Located on the coast between the major regional centers of Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, South West Rocks is a magical place with a rich history, ideal to visit at any time of year. Situated approximately five hours North of Sydney, South West Rocks sits at the mouth of the Macleay River, about half an hour past Kempsey.

There are abundant opportunities for cyclists of all calibres in the areas surrounding South West Rocks. The Macleay River valley offers hundreds of kilometres of flat, quiet, winding rural roads, most of which are paved to a condition acceptable for expensive road bikes. For those looking for steeper challenges, the roads North and West offer many undulating roads, with several significant climbs in the region.
